Overview

The 3255B range of Inductance Analyzers offers precision characterization of devices across a spectrum of conditions. Available in three versions – 3255BL (up to 200kHz), 3255B (up to 500kHz), and 3255BQ (up to 1MHz) – these analyzers are ideal for comprehensive parametric tests during the component development phase, assessing performance over diverse frequencies, AC drive levels, or DC bias currents.

Extended DC Bias for SMD Inductors: Supports SMD inductor tests up to 50 A with the 1009 DC Bias Fixture, compatible with 3255B and 3265B/25A units for thorough device evaluation at operational bias currents.

Bin Sorting Function: Offers component sorting into up to ten bins based on absolute values or percentage of values, facilitating quality control and component selection.

Safety Features: Includes safety interlock systems and protection against over-temperature, excess voltage drop, and sense lead failure, ensuring user safety and equipment reliability.

Intuitive Operation: Designed for straightforward, user-friendly operation with fast measurement speeds (up to 20 measurements per second), making it suitable for both lab and production environments.

Connectivity and Control: Features GPIB control with LabVIEW™ driver support for integration into automated test setups. Results can be directly printed using the parallel Centronics interface for analysis and archiving.
